Mandatory Egyptian Customs & ACID Regulations

In compliance with Egyptian Customs Authority Decree No. 430, all sea freight consignments to Egypt must register under the Advance Cargo Information (ACI) system. A unique 19-digit ACID number must be issued via Nafeza and CargoX blockchain a minimum of 48 hours prior to vessel departure from the loading port.

The ACID number must appear on the Master Bill of Lading and commercial invoice to enable seamless customs clearance, pre-clearance validation, and zero demurrage detention bottlenecks across Egyptian seaports.
